About Netflix

Netflix is a subscription streaming service offering films, series, documentaries and more on demand. Available at netflix.com and through apps on TVs, phones, tablets and games consoles, it lets members watch without traditional TV schedules.

For viewers, Netflix suits people who want a large library of entertainment in one place. Personalised recommendations suggest titles based on viewing history, and separate profiles let members of a household keep their own lists.

Netflix produces a large amount of original content, including series, films, documentaries and stand-up specials, alongside licensed titles. Many productions come from countries around the world and are available with subtitles and dubbing.

Membership plans vary in price and features, and some regions offer a lower-cost plan with ads. Netflix has also expanded into mobile games and live events for members.

The service therefore supports several related uses, from casual viewing and family entertainment to discovering international shows and films. Its official website is https://www.netflix.com/.
