Write content people actually need

Match the question behind a search, add first-hand value, and avoid keyword stuffing.

Google recommends helpful, reliable, people-first content—not pages written just to attract search traffic.

STEP 01

Start with the visitor’s goal

Decide whether the visitor wants an explanation, a comparison, a product or a local service. Answer that need early. Reviewing search results can help you understand the task, but copying ranking pages adds little value.

Your next step: Write one sentence describing who the page helps and what they should be able to do after reading it.

STEP 02

Add evidence and experience

Include original examples, results, photos or explanations you can support. Cite reliable sources, identify authors where appropriate and keep facts current. E-E-A-T describes qualities Google’s systems aim to recognize; it is not a single ranking factor.

Your next step: Replace one generic paragraph with a real example or a verifiable answer.

STEP 03

Make the answer easy to read

Use descriptive headings, natural language and relevant internal links. There is no ideal keyword density or word count. Repeating keywords unnaturally can violate Google’s spam policies.

Your next step: Read the page aloud and remove repeated phrases that do not help the reader.
